Frequently Asked Questions

What's your advice for starting a blog?

Speak your mind. Speak freely. Be yourself. I prefer reading things where the writer speaks from within and feels genuine. I found that it's better to speak from the heart rather than the mind. Speak as if you're talking to someone instead of preparing an article for a newspaper, that's where things get lost.

Is it difficult to blog?

I usually have a lot to say on the topic about Man United and football in general, so when you have a lot to say (and on a topic where there is always a heck of a lot of to talk about) then I'd say that blogging can be easy. Finding the right words is, of course, the main issue, but once you know what to say, it just comes naturally.

How did you come up with the name?

It was just a play on our nickname 'The Red Devils'. I wanted it to give people the idea of Man United whenever they hear the name 'The Devil is a Red'. It would suggest that it has something to do with Man United rather than something else, I hope 😬.

When did you start the blog?

I started it about a year ago. I decided I want to do this because I love to talk about the things that I'm passionate about and it's difficult to do so when there's no one around who are as passionate about the same things as you. So, instead, I talk to you dweebs online who love United and football as much as this dweeb 😊.

How did you start the blog?

I came up with the idea when I saw a lot of people giving their opinions online and started watching fan content. I thought, 'I could do that' even if it was just writing. I wanted to give my opinion and see what everyone has to say about them and spark a conversation with someone who is as passionate about United as I am.

Through doing this, I also started making videos of my own that I post on TikTok which you can see on the homepage or if you click one of the TikTok links on the website. Drop me a follow 👍.

What did you use to create the blog?

There were different web builders that I tried using such as Wix and WordPress, then I found Webflow and decided to give it a shot. Having used these other platforms, some work with Adobe XD and combining that with my IT knowledge, I realized that Webflow was the one I preferred most.

It is a bit tricky at first but after some time, you'll get there.

You do need to be a little tech savvy IMO to use it to it's full capacity. Wix was too basic and WordPress was too complicated for me. Webflow provided that balance between the two which is why I chose it.
