Yes it's that type of day as we got the news that Rashford will be going to Aston Villa which is now followed up by the news that Patrick Dorgu will be joining Ruben's Reds after the club announced his official signing.
The 20-year-old Dane has singed a contract until June 2030 with the option of extending for a further year.
Dorgu's first words as a Red:
“I am incredibly proud to be able to call myself a Manchester United player; this is a very special day for my whole family.
“I cannot wait to work with Ruben Amorim; his vision for this team and the future of the club is incredibly exciting. There is a clear plan set out for my development, and I feel that Manchester United is the perfect place to fulfil my potential and complete my huge ambitions.”
Technical Director Jason Wilcox also spoke on the signing:
“Patrick is a really exciting talent; his strong defensive and attacking attributes, adaptability and work-rate will make him a key part of Ruben Amorim’s squad.
“Patrick has had a superb start to his career, and at the age of just 20, we know he will continue to develop under the guidance of our excellent coaching team.
“Patrick is the latest exciting young player that we have brought into the club. We believe that each of these talents has world-class potential and the ability to play a key role in achieving the success that everyone at Manchester United is striving for.”
This was another deal that we knew was coming given the recent 'Here we go' and him flying to Manchester to do his medicals in the last 24 hours.
It's not a surprise.

I've already given my thoughts about him here so I won't repeat myself but it is great to finally have a signing over the line.
This window has not been great but at least we've seen Antony and Rashford moved on (albeit on loan) and Dorgu coming in permanently.
That position of left-back/left wing-back is an area where we've needed improvement for a long time. Well actually, it is a position where we just needed someone because we haven't had a LB in over a year due to the injuries of Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, who recently had a deal with Benfica collapse as he was said to go out on loan as well.
Just having a left-footer in that position is already an improvement.
Given his age, attributes, versatility and position and under the guidance of Ruben Amorim (who was pushing for this move), I do believe we can have a serious player on our hands.
Forgive me if I'm wrong but the last time we signed a left-back in January, he turned out all right 😉.
Welcome Patrick Dorgu to the greatest club in the world 🙌.
With all this transfer news, you may have been forgiven for forgetting that's it's a matchday! Palace preview.
