Napoli and Chelsea are the heavy favorites for the 20-year-old's signature as everyday there are new additions to what is an incredible deal for many reasons.
We've known since the start of the window that United were looking to let go of Garnacho who is rightfully considered as one of the better players in the squad with the potential to be world class. At his age, there is also enough time for him to develop making this potential sale quite extraordinary.
Moving on an academy player with all his attributes and potential at such a young age goes against what this club is all about, yet that doesn't seem to be deterring the bosses at Old Trafford as one thing's for certain, Garnacho appears to be heading OUT of United.
Fabrizio Romano in the last half an hour said that an opening bid from Napoli of €50m (£42m) with add-ons has been rejected by United as it doesn't match their valuation. However, manager Antonio Conte is pushing for the player's signature.
Chelsea are also in for Garnacho with Romano saying that the Blues have made contact with MUFC and the players' side and that they are internally deciding whether they should bid or not.
Other reports said that United were willing to lower their asking price of €75m to €65m which will give Napoli a better chance of bringing the Argentine to Italy.
I'm sure as the days go by, we will get more about what is looking like a very possible chance that we've seen the last of Garnacho at Man Utd 😢.
Final Thoughts

I will say more about it if and when it happens because I prefer to discuss matters once it is signed and sealed. While things suggest that this deal will happen, it hasn't happened, yet.
But what I do want to say is that even if Garnacho somehow manages to stay at United, just the fact that the club were looking to sell him and him moving at all at this point in his career is a crime.
As we know, he and the likes of Mainoo, Rashford and all those academy players of the past, they are EXACTLY WHAT UNITED ARE ALL ABOUT.
We develop players from the academy, nurture them, improve them and give them time before deciding whether they need to be moved on or not.
David Beckham had at least did as much as he could and won everything at United before he was let go to Real Madrid even if there were other reasons for his departure. He was also 29-years-old when he left rather than 20 and at the start of his career like Garnacho.
Our current number 17 is so young, has sooooooo much potential, can develop and has accomplished quite a lot despite his short career (Puskas award, 3rd in Golden Boy ranking, League Cup winner, FA Cup winner).
He is also a player who has the chance of becoming a Ballon d'Or winner or at least has the highest chance out of any current United players.
And we're letting all of that go?!
Like I said, I'll talk about it more once it happens but I don't think that that will be too long from now.
Absolutely disgusting from United.
It's the ONLY time that I feel truly embarrassed to be a supporter of this club as it goes against EVERYTHING we are.
A sad day indeed.
