The final run-in for the remainder of the 24/25 campaign begins with a difficult trip to the high-flying Nottingham Forest for MUFC.

Amorim though, feels his side are in a good place before going into the crunch period of what will make or break this season.

Amorim provides positive updates in terms of team news ahead of tomorrow night's game. The United boss says both Maguire and Yoro will be available for the match and that while Heaven won't be ready his injury "was not so serious, so he's recovering." On Shaw, Amorim says that he too isn't ready yet but that with Mount, "he is feeling better" with Mainoo almost returning.

The Portuguese talks about it not being a problem to have the hectic schedule we have as previously, we were doing it without a lot of players due to injuries but admits that having these players back, "is really important." He believes that this period is a "very good moment in our season."

The 40-year-old feels that there is more confidence in him and the players as the "energy is different" but that despite this positive feeling, he acknowledges that things could change instantly depending on results. "We know we have to improve and we are ready for these final two months of this season."

After his brace in the FA Cup for Aston Villa, Amorim was asked about Marcus Rashford with the United manager saying that he is "happy when our players are playing well on loan" but that he is focused on his current team. "Marcus Rashford is not my player at the moment.

On Forest and his fellow Portuguese Ruben Amorim was full of praise for Nuno Espirito Santo and our opponents. He says that they are doing "amazing" and that he isn't surprised with the job Santo has done at The City Ground as he is "a top manager."

Final Thoughts

Good news that we are actually getting players back as usually, its the other way round. It will definitely boost our team and perhaps even confidence but for Amorim, it will certainly be a big help.

I guess after the past month in which we only lost to Fulham on penalties in the FA Cup, to not lose any other game and actually put in decent performances will make one feel more confident and will change the energy.

United have done so well that Amorim and Bruno have been nominated for manager and player of the month with the captain's goal against the Foxes even being nominated for goal of the month.

These are all things that will make us feel a lot more positive heading into this final (important) stretch of the season. We need it but he's right in that we are one bad performance and result away from a crisis. United have to continue the momentum they had before the break.

Not sure why they're talking about Rashford because while it is great he's doing well, we cannot be worrying about a player who isn't at the club. It's good that he continues his form as it can only benefit United in the long run.

Fully agree with the boss that Forest and Santo have been unbelievable. 3rd in the league and in the semis of the FA Cup, they will definitely not be a pushover. They are probably the favorites for tomorrow even though they played until penalties in their shootout win over Brighton on Saturday.

Despite the quick turnaround though, they will be bouyant at making it to Wembley.

Yeah, I can talk and talk and talk about the things I love, like football and United, as you can see in this post. Once I get on a roll, it's pretty hard to stop me. This is all coming from a guy who doesn't talk that much. How weird.
