Man Utd travel to Fulham on Sunday night in match 23 of the Premier League. Amorim will be looking to take some of the momentum from the late win over Rangers into what is another crunch game for his side.
There's a lot of talk about the future of some of his players and in terms of his selections moving forward so it will be interesting to see what he does on Sunday.
Ruben Amorim says he is much like his players in terms of having that belief that they keep fighting until the end after the late Bruno Fernandes winner against Rangers.
The manager once more talks about how more time on the training ground is needed but in a sense of bringing the team even more together and that time is scarce as it restricts his players to get to know him more away from the coach.
"If you don't have that feeling [togetherness] it's hard to win."
Casemiro has been an unused substitute in 10 of the last 13 matches with Amorim explaining that the Brazilian has to have the right characteristics and that he chooses the players with the right characteristics for matches. In order to play his style of football, he has to select the players who best suit it.
"That's all."
Team news and the manager says that he is "unsure" about both Leny Yoro and Matthijs De Ligt who both came off early in Thursday night's win. He says that Yoro is a bit tired as he's played a lot of football recently so they have to be careful with him and that De Ligt had a bruise which is why he came off.
While a couple of weeks ago the boss did say that Luke Shaw will be ready in two weeks time i.e. now, he meant ready to train with the team and NOT be ready for matches.

"He's a top player" says Amorim regarding captain Bruno Fernandes and that when the pressure is on, his fellow Portuguese is always available and wants the ball in these tough moments. While he can be quite frustrating in terms of throwing his arms in the air a lot, the manager says that it's about helping Bruno balance his frustrations with his football.
"We are lucky to have a player like Bruno Fernandes."
What's a presser without a question about Rashford, right?
Amorim was asked whether he thinks that perhaps MR10 could remain at United this month to which the manager replied "I really don't know."
The Portuguese cleared up the fact that Altay Bayindir came in for Andre Onana against Rangers as part of rotation despite saying that it's an even fight between the two for that number one spot.
This was planned rotation with Onana's error against Brighton not being a reason as to why he was out and the Turk was in.
Final Thoughts
That togetherness from the squad looks to be there on some occasions but not in others.
I've always felt that when things are going well, they are on top of the world but as soon as things get tough, they are nowhere to be found.
But where the improvement has come in is that when we've been hard done by like in the Arsenal game, the players did react as one and backed each other up. That incident with Maguire and Havertz is a good example.
That fight from everyone was not something we've seen at United for a while as more often than not, the player involved is left to fend for himself rather than have his teammates back him up.
Amorim has built more of a steel in his players as well which has made a difference but I do think we need to see more of it. This steel is viewed best when looking at the amount of late goals we've scored in recent times. In three of the last five games, United have scored 5 goals from the 80th minute and beyond with all having positive ramifications for those respective matches.
But more time is needed as we've seen just what a week on the training ground can do with the performances against Liverpool and Arsenal being great examples of this extra training time.
Casemiro to me has been done at United since last season. By that I mean in terms of his performances as he has been awful for a long time. This has led to where we are with him not even getting on the field anymore.
It's a shame for such a player to be in this position but I can only blame him for that as his performances have been terrible. I feel like that Liverpool game at Old Trafford where Erik ten Hag hooked him off at halftime after multiple mistakes was the end of the road for the midfielder.
It's not as if he hasn't had chances since but he has failed to take them.
Why he is still at United is the question. He should be being sold ahead of Garnacho as we could use with Casemiro going.
For Amorim to say that Casemiro has to have the right characteristics for him to be picked or even come on as a substitute speaks volumes. It just further implies what many have felt that the 32-year-old doesn't have what it takes to play in his system.
I doubt we'll see him play again for United unless we are in desperate need or there is a drastic upturn in his form.
The problem I have with Bruno is that he's too good to be this inconsistent. Even last night, I don't think he was great but he was better than previous matches. His goal made that performance a bit better but in a game like that against such an opponent, you would expect more from a player who has his quality.
His leadership is not the standard I would want but he is more of a leader than most. He can be seen giving instructions to his teammates and trying to help them on the field but he can also disappear in the toughest of moments like the Brighton game.
Bruno's numbers are always incredible but they can sometimes mask what wasn't actually a good performance.
But on the other hand, we are worse without him. Don't know what that says about the rest, but anyway.
United seem to lose their heart when Bruno isn't there as no one other than perhaps Dalot, has that ability to keep on going all game. That is a skill in itself. He does also make himself more available than others in the more difficult moments which again, shows his leadership compared to the rest.
I sometimes feel that we don't appreciate him at United as much as we should but also believe that people go too far in the other direction and praise him as if he's prime Zidane.
He's more in the middle but again, he should be better than that.
He needs to find that balance between his frustrations and quality as a footballer which will make him better.
Let's be honest, as much as this may have been planned rotation, Amorim was probably upset with Onana after his cockup against Brighton. I don't think it would've made a difference to the outcome of the game but did play a part in killing any chances we had of recovering.
Onana is also hit and miss and is very divisive besides. One week good, one week shit which displays his inconsistencies much like United themselves.
We all want Bayindir to start in the league now after his heroics against Arsenal and his good performance against Rangers. Amorim said that they both need time to showcase their abilities and perhaps this is the opportunity for him to do so with Bayindir given Onana's unreliable performances.
Onana also plays much more than Bayindir giving him more time to improve but it always seems one step forward, two steps back with the Cameroonian. Bayindir isn't the best but perhaps a run of games would see him improve.
