Florian Plettenberg was at it again as he released more news regarding the future of some of United’s squad.

Yesterday he spoke about Rashford and his future at the club which is uncertain as MUFC are open to letting the boy from Wythenshawe go.

As he of all players could be on the move, this has opened everyone’s eyes as to who else will be on the chopping block.

Nobody appears to be safe.

Well, when I say nobody, there are some.

Plettenberg put out this list of players who are ‘considered unsellable’:

Amad

Kobbie Mainoo

Noussair Mazraoui

Matthijs De Ligt

Leny Yoro

Andre Onana

And 2-3 others

“Internally, Manchester United agree that over half of the players in the squad are serious candidates for sale in the winter or summer if good offers come in. Ruben #Amorim is to be given the opportunity to make a rebuild, which will require urgent sales”, says Plettenberg.

I would agree with that list although I am a little perplexed as to why Onana is on there. I’m not saying he’s a bad goalkeeper but he isn’t exactly Alisson either.

I would hope that the 2-3 include Hojlund and Ugarte. The rest I don’t have a problem with being up for sale even if there are players that I like such as Martinez.

I also think it’s about time that the club start to move players on as it’s been far too long since they’ve removed those that need to be moved on, and that it’s about time we see INEOS start to get ruthless with the squad. They’ve had no problems when it comes to canceling Christmas parties, reducing bonuses and firing 250+ staff members.

It’s about time they started to remove those that actually need to be removed. We have too many players that have been at United for a long time, players who don’t have the quality, are unreliable, are on huge wages and are too old to be playing at a club like ours.

Perhaps this is that ‘open heart surgery’ Ralf Rangnick was talking about a couple of years ago.

I just hope that they get rid of the right players for the right reasons and not do it simply because of financial reasons. Try to move on those that the manager doesn’t see as part of his plans as well as because of age, wage and so on.

It’s good that we’re finally looking at getting players out of our club but what’s the point if we do end up selling the wrong ones?

Do you agree with that list that Plettenberg has put out? Who would you add or remove?

Yeah, I can talk and talk and talk about the things I love, like football and United, as you can see in this post. Once I get on a roll, it's pretty hard to stop me. This is all coming from a guy who doesn't talk that much. How weird.
