Some pretty big news coming out of Carrington as Manchester United and more importantly, Erik ten Hag has reintegrated Jadon Sancho into first-team training.

This was the first time Sancho trained with United following ten Hag's comments about him not performing to the standard required in training resulting in his omission from the matchday squad at Arsenal in gameweek four of last season. Sancho then responded with THAT tweet which he had on his Twitter (X) for over a week.

That was back at the start of September in 2023.

The 24-year-old was then sent on loan to his former club Borussia Dortmund from January in which he made it to the Champions League final which ended in defeat to Real Madrid. But from September until that loan in January, Sancho didn't play or train with United for four months. This was the second time he had such a period in his time at the club after being given three months off by ten Hag due to apparent personal reasons in the 22/23 season.

All of this exemption from the team stemmed from the fact that Sancho apparently refused to apologize to manager Erik ten Hag for what he said in that X post.

However, things seemed to have been cleared as Sancho has returned to Carrington.

Despite him being back at the club and in the squad, there is still a chance that he could leave United as while he and the manager/club look to be on good terms nothing is set in stone about Sancho's future.

Final Thoughts

This guy is one hell of a player. What we saw at Dortmund the first time was nothing short of ridiculous. How he plays football is exactly what we need to play ten Hag ball.

He's skillful, tricky, can play give and goes, one-twos, is relatively quick and is not selfish, a problem that we have with our other wingers.

But his major issue is his mentality and attitude. This is a problem that he's had throughout his career from his time across town at Man City and even upon his return to Dortmund, there were rumors about then manager Edin Terzic being a little unhappy with Sancho's lack of discipline in certain areas.

Should the no 25 be able to sort his attitude out, we'll have an amazing player on our hands.

Do I think he'll stay then?

I don't actually know. What I do know is that should we let him go, we will get a decent fee for him even if it is nowhere near the £75m we bought him for, and it will also mean that £300k a week salary will be gone.

But I have a feeling that he will stay. With him and ten Hag having appeared to have sorted out their issues, I think all will be more positive from here.

This will also mean an extra winger at the club which will help us. As I said, Sancho is a top player and to have the likes of him, Rashford, Garnacho, Antony and Amad as our main threats down the flanks, I would be happy with that. United will then not need to go after another winger.

If he does remain at the club, would others like an Amad or Antony need to worry about their place in the side?

Whatever the case is, Jadon Sancho is back at United.

Yeah, I can talk and talk and talk about the things I love, like football and United, as you can see in this post. Once I get on a roll, it's pretty hard to stop me. This is all coming from a guy who doesn't talk that much. How weird.
