What to expect

Not much to be honest. I feel that all the business has been done especially when it comes to the incomings.

While there hasn't been an official announcement on Manuel Ugarte, given all the reports, we know he's a Man Utd player. I think we all now know that this will be United's sort of 'deadline day deal' as there will most likely be no more players signed this window.

I do believe that a left-back is still necessary because of the unreliability of Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia and with Mason Mount's month-long hamstring injury, Christian Eriksen not being used and Scott McTominay joining Napoli, the midfield is looking very weak as well.

As for the outgoings, we have also been quite active in that area but there are definitely more than enough players that still need to be shipped off. Not all of them were going to be moved on this window but as we are hours away from the deadline, that is obviously highly improbable.

The likes of Victor Lindelof, Christian Eriksen and Harry Maguire should've been added to Aaron Wan-Bissaka and McTominay in terms of departures. I don't think those players are good enough and don't actually look like they'll get much first-team football. Lindelof is also injured at the moment anyway.

Jadon Scamcho I mean Sancho 😏, is the only possible outgoing on deadline day.

He's had interest from both Juventus and Chelsea over recent weeks however, it appears as if the Old Lady are out of the running for the player's signature.

Fabrizio Romano reports that "Negotiations between Juventus and Manchester United on Jadon Sancho are currently in total stand-by.

Juventus consider request made by Man United too high and won’t proceed at current conditions.

⚠️ It could only change with more sales in final 24h or price to drop."

The Athletic are saying that MUFC are willing to drop their original asking price from £40m to just £25m thanks to the fact that Juventus considered the deal too costly.

This means that Chelsea are the current front-runners for JS25, who was a Blues fan growing up as he admitted in a talkSPORT interview a couple of years ago.

Sancho seems to want to move to the club he supported growing up more than any other club even though reports came out that he was happy to move to Juventus.

There are also ongoing talks about how Chelsea are willing to do a swap with Sancho for Raheem Sterling. This potential deal came out of nowhere a week ago and the fact that many have been talking about it indicates that it was (and perhaps still is) a possibility.

There were also reports that Sterling was open to joining United, the team he apparently supported as a boy.

So far as I see it, Sancho swap with Sterling or just Sancho to Chelsea is the only deal/s that could happen today.

With transfer deadline day though, you never know what will happen. I'd like for incomings and outgoings but at this late stage, I can't see it happening. All we'll get is a Manuel Ugarte announcement and a thank you to Scott McTominay.

Would you be happy with nothing being done from United on deadline day or would you like to see something happen?

The window shuts at 11pm BST so there's not much time left to get things done.

Yeah, I can talk and talk and talk about the things I love, like football and United, as you can see in this post. Once I get on a roll, it's pretty hard to stop me. This is all coming from a guy who doesn't talk that much. How weird.
